I Met Someone Cool!

So about two weeks ago I went to Disneyland with two girls from my choir. We had a blast just doing random things. We saw the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts when we first walked in. It was hilarious when the queen started chewing on a little kids toy and the Hatter had to remind her that she had finished teething. When he saw us filming he told us that we needed to sign a contract before we could film him. We saw him two more times throughout the day and he become increasingly "angry" and trying to get us to stop filming, or film ourselves. Finally we handed him a blank paper so he could write a contract and he promptly demanded 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 dollars. He made sure to fill in all the commas too! And we got it all on video which is even better. We had fun coloring getting our pictures taken with princesses. Now the best part of my story requires some backstory! Back when I went to Club 33 I mentioned that I saw an Imagineer. I thought he looked familiar but I was too busy to stop and talk to him (Truth be told he was probably pretty busy too!). When I came home I looked him up and he had done all sorts of things with Disney! And of course this is all leading up to the fact that I saw him again, and I got a picture with him this time! We were just walking past the Disneyland Dream Suite and we saw some people walking on the stairs near it. When they didn't go in the front door, we wanted to watch them go up the secret side elevator. When they reached the top, I noticed Tony Baxter there! (I specifically remembered him since I recognized him the last time) My friends had a great time making fun of me in my hyperactive-excited state. We waited for a bit but we didn't want to leave because we knew as soon as we left they would come back! So we walked around Tarzan's treehouse until we noticed that they had come out again! We placed ourselve conviently at the exit. When he walked by I said "Mr. Baxter, would you mind taking a picture with me?" to which he replied "How do you know who I am?" I said that he was famous in Disneyland history (I should have said I'm pretty much the biggest Disneyland nerd) He talked quick about the Dream Suite, and asked me if I had the Disneyland DVD (which I do, thanks Miss Artist!) and said that there was a bunch more footage. He went to go see them award the Dream Suite, and we did too. In fact, we kept running into him. Anyway, sorry for all the talk, here's a picture!
The little clue circled area is the elevator where we first saw him. Oh, I forgot to mention Tony Baxter is the guy who came up with the idea for Splash Mountain, and has worked on other prjects like the Submarines and Indiana Jones! Just Google him! The downside is I forgot to tell him my name, and that I want to be an Imagineer! But I guess with my luck I'll see him again! :)

Cross it off the List!

Last week I completed another of my 100 Things to Do Before I Die! Last Wednesday I dyed my hair blue! It was just really cheap spray on stuff, but it was still pretty fun. It rubbed off on my jacket by the end of the day. It was super fun to see everyone's reactions. Quite a few people did a double take! And here's some pictures to prove it! It was quite a pain to get out though. Sorry for the long time of not posting! Things have been pretty busy. I'm happy to announce I gave up biting my nails for Lent, and so far I'm doing a pretty good job! Stay tuned as I have a super exciting story to tell you all! :]
